Hello , today I will tell you about the type of traffic coming to the blog in this post . When you see in Google Analytics you will see many types of traffic . I am going tell you about all those traffic .

● Organic Traffic
● Paid Traffic
● Direct
● Referral
● Other
Types of traffic on blog :-
▣ Organic Traffic ⥤ Organic traffic comes from organic search . Organic traffic means the traffic that comes from any search engine (Google , Yahoo , Bing ) . Organic traffic mainly comes when you do good on-page SEO of your blog . If you do on-page SEO of your blog well, then organic traffic comes automatically to your website . The better on-page SEO you do, the more organic traffic will come to your blog or website . Organic traffic mostly comes to your blog when your blog is ranking on top page in Google on any topic .
e.g. - This is an example of organic search . If anyone click on this link then this is called organic traffic .
▣ Paid Traffic ⥤ Paid traffic comes from paid search . Paid traffic means traffic that comes from advertisements (google ads , Facebook ads , other ad networks ) and promotions . This traffic is also called PPC ( Pay Per click ) traffic . Paid traffic usually means that you have to pay for the traffic . Your website will run on certain keywords in paid traffic .
e.g. - This is a example of google Ads . When anyone clicks on that link then this traffic is called paid search traffic .
▣ Direct Traffic ⥤ Direct traffic means direct access or direct visit to a website . Traffic that comes directly to your website .
e.g. - When someone accesses your website directly without any referral URL .

● By newsletter
● Directly typing the website URL
Direct traffic to any blog mainly comes through newsletters . Meaning the direct traffic comes from the subscribers of that blog . The more subscribers, the more direct traffic will come to the blog .
▣ Social traffic ⥤ Social traffic means the traffic comimg from social networks or social media platforms (YouTube , Instagram , Facebook , Twitter , Pinterest etc.) . Social traffic comes from promoting your blog .
e.g. When someone clicks on your Facebook post and then reaches on your website, this traffic is called social traffic .
▣ Referral traffic ⥤ Referral traffic is the traffic that comes from backlinks . When you put a link to your website in the article or comment section of another website . Then when someone visits your website from a link placed on another site . That traffic is called referral traffic .
▣ Other traffic ⥤ Other traffic is that traffic when search engine (Google , Yahoo , Bing ) is unable to identify the source or medium from where the traffic is coming . Other traffic comes from different traffic mediums like (paid , social , untagged , referral etc.) . Other traffic is also called unknown traffic .
